Similar to the reputation of quality and reliability of Toyota and Honda, there are parts companies with such a reputation?
What parts from what brand names have a reputation of quality and reliability?
What brand name parts do you swear by?
I know you said Toyota but denso is great. Honestly it really depends on what part you’re taking about because some companies specialize in certain parts. It’s their bread and butter. NGK for spark plugs, wix oil filters, KYB shocks struts. It’s to hard to narrow down.
I am open to hear about any quality part brands.
Doorman, NGK, Denso, KYB, SOME duralast, JEGGS, Bosch, Bilstein, magna international, Lear Corp, Visteon , AC Delco. There ya go bud haha. @kaizen
GTK. Nice.
Thanks....... @kaizen
Dorman makes decent parts.
Off the top of my head, NAPA Gold filters, NGK spark plugs, KYB or Bilstein shocks, Hepu water pumps, Continental or Gates serpentine belts, SKF or Timkin bearings, Brembo rotors, Nissens radiators and condensers, Spicer U-joints and ball joints.
Some brands that were good in the past, like Moog, have dropped quality in recent years.
Denso plugs, Tecneco filters, Brembo brakes (they are bizarrely inexpensive here) KYB suspension and anti roll parts (again, weirdly inexpensive), Prestone antifreeze, Petronas Oil
and
Finally Dipetane fuel additive, don't think it's sold outside of Ireland and UK, but it's gotten many an old wreck through an emissions test..
Denso, Aisin, Aisin Seiki, Mitsuboshi, Gates, Dayco, Delphi, AC Delco, NAPA, Carquest, and Wix.
Also Akebono
