Scotty- I have a 2003 Ponitiac Vibe Sport, manual transmission, 220,000 miles. Doesn't burn oil and runs great!  Overall a great car. Only things I've had to do, other than normal maintenance was replace the pressure plate at 150,000 mile.  Engine is great, but the subsystems are starting to go. I've replace window rollers in 2 windows, other issues with switches and electrical, but now the cruise control is out. Turns on but doesn't engage. Think it is the switch......where is the best place to get replacement parts???

If you want the best quality, usually OEM. Otherwise, your local auto parts store or Rockauto have quite a wide variety of choices.

But on an almost 20 yr old vehicle, are items such as the cruise control really must haves? I’d let it be and live with it.

If you go trying to fix every single minor thing in an old vehicle, you’ll be fixing something every month. Ofcourse, it’s your vehicle and your money, but it’s a good idea to fix only the items which you must have.

I recently bought some parts for my 00 camaro through ebay motors, that may help you. Dorman may have something as well.
