Who can I trust when buying parts online?

Dear Scotty, I have 2010 Honda Civic LX with 126,000 miles and just had the CV axles replaced, my mechanic said that I should probably get new lower control arms. Unfortunately getting it from Honda at a discount is still going to cost me $160 each and the ball joints are separate. So this leads me to the question, should I bite the bullet and buy the $400+ in parts? Or should I buy the set for $250 from Amazon... Labor is going to cost me $200 per side, and I'm moving to Alaska next month and am going to have to drive up the Alcan to get there. Is there a trust worthy company that make a decent enough product that can survive the over 3000 mile trip from south Florida?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate what you do.

Thanks, can you also send me the other side? While looking for them the MEVOTECH CMS60100 and CMS60101 come up but nothing like CMS601190...

go to rockauto.com punch in your vehicle. Look under daily driver section

Thanks, I actually had to go to to MEVOTECH website to look it up. For whatever reason under daily driver neither arm came up. I don't know what I did to not have them come up but thanks for getting me started.

I may have picked the wrong engine size. I have no idea what the LX came with.

I've done very well buying parts from rockauto.com over the years, but you need to watch shipping cost especially when ordering multiple items that may be coming from different warehouses. If you do an online search there is usually a 5% off rockauto.com discount code available.

I’ve used RockAuto often.

As far as Mevotech, for my Accord I have a set of suspension and steering components (besides struts) from them. I’m not completely sold on them, but they are decent so far. Only time will tell!
