I am looking to buy a used car. My budget is $5,000. I will be using it to commute to and from work and across states for school. I looked at Toyotas and Hondas, but they're are overpriced for their mileages. I was looking at a 2008 Ford Fusion SE with 150,000 miles. Is there anything I should look out for with this vehicle? I am also open to other suggestions for car models. Thank you.

I would get an older Corolla or Civic.

Look for a Crown Victoria, maybe a Lincoln Town Car.
