Good morning everyone. Question: What's happening if I don't oil an air filter? I've had an afe momentum air intake since January of this year to my Grand Cherokee its time to clean it and was wondering What if I don't oil the filter? Back when I purchased it I didn't pay attention to the two types of air intakes they had that being a dry filter and oiled filter... Can I skip the oil without consequences?

I thought oil bath air filters went away in the 1950s. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the filter to avoid problems.
