Toyota Camry or Lexus ES350. I actually plan to purchase a new ES350, so it has my seal of approval.

For suv another option to consider if you want a family suv is the gasoline version of the Highlander; the 2022 is v6.

And with the 2.0L SkyActive-G on the Mazda3 being paired to the good old 6AT, it's probably going to outlast everyone too.
IF it must be a 6 cylinder, the 4Runner V6 is the most durable but it lacks in safety,
And the Camry V6 and Lexus ES350 are SOMEWHAT safe (91% on EuroNCAP, 4% less (worse) than a Corolla)
But it's important to note that the Camry and ES350 require frequent and quality service and moderate driving.

If you buy a 2022 or 2023 4Runner, it does come with a V6 engine. The powertrain for the 4Runner will change for the 2024 model year.
