Scotty, I have a 93 Plymouth Sundance Duster. 4 door, V6, hatchback. I am the second owner. My local mechanic tells me it is a "Barn find" {black}:idontknow: . It is has a very clean interior and shows only normal wear and tear on the exterior. I had to put some repairs into it as it had sat in the first owners garage for months undriven. I am thinking of selling it but have no idea what I should ask. If you can give me some feedback I'd appreciate it. The current odometer reading shows 139,000.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Naomi
Well not much, unless you find a really avid fan. Even if it's in perfect condition there is much not need for a car as such. I wouldn't expect to get a ton out of it in terms of resale value.1970s/1980s would be a little worth more. Sundance Duster is a cuter car. The most I'd say you get out of it is like 3k and that's stretching it, like really hard.
I agree with @bruceree you are not going to get much out of it. The good interior and exterior helps with resale value.
While it might be a "barn find" it's not highly sought after or collectable and not worth a whole lot. I found a thread in one forum from 2005, was apparently pristine and only 83k miles and he sold it for $900. Good Luck...get what you can for it.
