[Solved] What smaller battery to use with memory saver when disconnecting battery cables.

What amp-hour spec to to get for smaller battery to use with a memory saver? Can get small Duracell battery per the web page link below, for 22.99, and only disconnecting my battery cables now for cleaning, but need a capable AH battery (smaller hopefully, for smaller price vs. regular auto battery) for longer cables-off repairs. If I knew how many amps my system draws (engine off), I could choose one me thinks, but since I don't, please suggest one. https://www.batteriesplus.com/productdetails/SLAA12=1.3F?storecode=135&locationofinterest=&locationphysical=9015625&utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=ecommpla&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzJSqsYT37AIVRtbACh2uwgtPEAQYAiABEgJzDvD_BwE

Hello. If you have a battery charger/maintainer/jumpstarter, you could just use that. Or even wall-wart adapter from an old device.

The system needs 12.5V and around a tenth of an amp, which is not very much-- a couple of watts. Just be careful to turn off the radio, exterior lights, automatic interior lights etc

The battery you linked should provide you with around 16hrs.

There are also commercial solutions available

Thank goodness you folks are here! I looked up the memory saver you mention. Looks like this will work for my 2013 GMC terrain in replacing my battery.
Thank-you mountainmanjoe

Just saw your answer about hitting the checkmark beside answer. Will do, and one more question please. Will this charger work to charge that Duracell battery I linked to in first post? I could also use it for connecting to the memory saver, instead of buying that battery I linked to...?

@justplumducky
Yes, you can use that charger to save the memory in your car, and yes it would charge that Duracell.
