Hey everyone,
Wanted to buy a larger SUV for around 5k. I've been looking at 1999-2005 explorers with the 4.6L V8 engine since I already have a Grand Marquis. Just wondering, how well do you think those explorers will hold up?
If not I'm just going to buy other panther platform car until I find myself a deal.
I do work on my own cars so regular maint. is not an issue but let me know if you think I should look at other vehicles.

These days realize that any SUV at that low price is going to be a crap shoot. Now. The forge can be okay but generally in that price range they have the heck beat out of them and there's not much left. Make sure you have a mechanic like me. Check it out before you buy anything like that
