Been looking to get a truck and was wondering what you would recommend. I was either thinking a new Toyota Tundra or an f-250 with 7.3 Godzilla motor. This will be a family car but I also want it to be a work truck. I’m a fabricator and I haul a lot of metal what would you recommend. Love your videos. Keep up the great work! Thank you!

Well the Tundra is proven, tried and true platform. The 7.3 GODZILLA is pushrod tech which is proven, tried and true. However, the 7.3 hasn’t been out for very long so don’t really know what the overall reliability is. Fords 10 speed transmissions are riddled with issues and really don’t tow well at all. If you want a truck to go 300k mi or over with a reliable transmission, Tundra all day long. If you’re only wanting to drive a truck 10 years and trade it out. Ford with the 7.3 GODZILLA would be fine. is there a particular reason you want gas powered? Given your profession and hauling quite a bit I’d move up into a diesel personally. If I were to get a newer diesel I’d get a Ram with the 6.7 Cummins paired up with the Aisin transmission.

I'd go Tundra between those two.
