Thank you for the information it really has helped get through the kinks of the automobile ins and outs once again I do appreciate I’m getting ready to buy my son a Tacoma he’s in college and while he’s in college, I don’t mind taking care of a car payment for him. I’ve read so many different reviews throughout the last couple months on what years are good and what aren’t can you please give me your professional opinion anywhere from a 2011 or 12 to a 2019 due to the fact that I am on a budget but with a four-cylinder for sure automatic transmission Thank you.

I understand you said you're on a budget but if you are going to end up considering a 2019 model year then you might also want to consider a new base model. This is base on a quick search I did for the price of used 2019 Toyota Tacoma's in my area. But if you decide to go for an older model year or high mileage which the price is significantly less than new one then check out the website @yaser said above as a starting point for which years to buy or avoid
