Hey Scotty my name is Andrew and I was wondering what’s a good first project car. I just turned 18 and was thinking of starting a project car that can be affordable and also fun to drive around. I’ve been looking at old muscle cars but most cost about the same as a new car. Any ideas on a what kinda car I should get?
Always start with a cheaper car to learn project cars on who knows what you can find out there just start looking I mean I've had guys find 25-year-old mustangs that had v8s need a little work that weren't that expensive or it depends what you really want.you can get an old Toyota Camry and that take a run forever and you could easily learn how to fix the old four-cylinder ones
Look at sedans that aren't as popular and high-priced as muscle cars. Something like a Maverick or a Hornet might not be very exciting but they can be relatively inexpensive to buy and easy to wrench on, and are amenable to upgrades that can make them a bit more fun.
