Hi Scotty I have a Dodge Journey 2017 with 106,000 miles on it and I found out on your video of suvs only stupid people buy and now im pissed. The problem is with my check engine light always coming on when im driving and my air conditioning always turning on by itself while driving. Ive gotten it fixed before by a auto repair shop and they gave me a paper with all these codes to lookup and sent me on my way home, then a week later my check engine light comes on again along with the ac turning on by itself continously. Id like to know what my problem is instead of just handing out money to dealers just so they can do a temporary fix to get me to come back. Also if it helps i do drive a lot to Los Angeles from Orange County.
Dodges are not the best vehicles. But, in order to find the problem you should consider buying a decent scanner that can atleast give you trouble codes. From there you can google the code, find out what they mean and how you can fix the root cause of the issue, or atleast have an idea whats causing the issue so you dont get ripped off by someone doing the work.
What were the codes you were given, and what work did they do?
