What’s the longest lasting new car?

I’m looking for the absolute longest lasting new car in the US. Preferably with a standard transmission. I’m looking at around $25k but no more than $30k. Also has to be FWD or AWD. Thoughts on the Subaru Crosstek Premium or Honda Civic Hatchback with the 2 liter? Are there any others on the market? Maybe even a truck or do I have to go used for that? I love your content Scotty. You help a lot of people out!

well in that price range... I recommend Toyota and Honda on cars and suvs. Pickup trucks (diesel ones) dodge all the way due to straight line 6 cylinder Cummins which are very reliable. gas pickups... Toyota

brand new: gona be hard to get vehicle in that price... get Honda over Subaru

Used: Toyota 4 runner since its SOOO fun to drive

that's my 2 cents

You have it narrowed down pretty well. If you need AWD crossover, get the Subaru. Otherwise get the Civic.

Good choices. I would also consider Camry and Accord.

I would recommend the new civic hatchback in sport trim because it has both the 2.0L engine and you get the option to get it with manual transmission.
