What’s your opinion on the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Hatchback?

Hey, I’m 20 and I have very specific must haves for what car I get. I need 4WD, I want it to be a hatchback, and I want 200 or more HP.

Honestly, the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Hatchback checks all my wants and needs. But I want to get some extra opinions. And I know that super chargers kill engines faster, but I don’t really know what else to do.

Clarification: How many years and miles do you need it to last you?

As many as possible preferably lol

Which year? The older ones did not come with a good scoop and that tends to cause overheating issues for em, if you got the one with a good scoop, just know that anything not naturally aspirated will wear and tear more than the latter. Supercharger and turbo kill the car about the same amount tbh, it also depends on how you are gonna drive it. It maybe necessary to get a oil baffle and a catch can minimum if you're planning to drive fast. The only difference is that turbos have lag while supercharger is instant lower end torque. Therfore they will most likely kill the car faster but not always. To last as long as possible, I would say get the one with the hood scoop to avoid the over heating issue and always preheat the car before putting down power. You don't need to baby the turbo. It's good to keep it spoiled up every once in a while but not every second of driving.
