Hi Scotty , Have a Lincoln Navigator 2011 B from U.K. and trying to re register in Spain , The Spanish authorities won't accept VIN plate at base of screen or sticker on D/Door frame they will only accept a VIN number "Stamped" into the chassis I'm informed they're hidden for security reasons would you be able to reveal the location of one ? Have had no success to date but do have a pretty clean chassis but beginning to think its like trying to find the Holy Grail .

Under the cowl, in the engine bay, on the engine/trans, on any of the exterior panels, etc
On the frame along the passenger side, in front of the tire. Check the rear wheel wells, above the tire, the steering column, under the washer fluid container, and under the spare tire.
But sometimes the brits put stuff in inventive places ?
There is one for sure on the frame rail below the floor either on the passenger or drivers side front seats.. You can see it with an inspection cam from underneath. Its stamped into the top of the frame rail.
in the early 90's ford put the vins in 17 places on those trucks. Today there is more than 30 places including the transmission 🙂
