You'll get lots of opinions here. Mine is Chevy work truck with the least amount of electronic junk.

F250 6.2 or if you want a monster get the 7.3.

You basically have two options right (don't get a RAM).
I don't think one is significantly better than the other. Test drive them both and see which one suits you better.
