I am buying a new car for work and it’s down to a Mazda CX-9 with a 4 cylinder engine and a Chevy traverse with a 6 cylinder engine. I will be driving 15000-20000 miles a year. Please let me know witch on you would recommend and if I should buy the extended warranty. Thank you

Sorry they are 2017’s with less than 40000 miles on them. And I chose them because I like the looks  and my wife has a 2007 cX-9 with 168000 miles on it and it still runs great but has a 6 cylinder in it and I was not sure about the 4. Plus I’m a big guy and I’m very comfortable in the Mazda

If it’s brand new you’re talking about, get the CX-9!

If I may ask, what made you choose it over the Highlander/Pilot?

Mazda is a lot better than the Chevy by far but the 4 cylinder is a bit weaker than the V6 in the earlier models. Between only those two I would go Mazda but I would also consider a Highlander if it is new.

You don't mention what year on both...some years on both are real CLUNKERS...almost neck and neck!

Ignore this msg - its a new car i  stand corrected.

Agreed! But since he mentions extended warranty, I guessed he means new=brand new.

yeah your right..that text extended to the right into the NO SIGHT ZONE here....Good catch!
