I have a 5AT 2006 Acura TL 3.2 with 148xxx miles. I drove it around for a few minutes just now after driving it earlier in the day. Just now I noticed that when I got back, I put it in park and floored it. When It gets to top rpm It let’s out a little white smoke. I did it again after that it came out just a tad less. Is it coolant issue? Or just burning off excess gas?
Uh why would you do that? You might damage the engine. Does the smoke come out when you’re idling or only when you rev the engine? Also, where is it coming from? If it comes from exhaust tip, it could be a sign of a blown head gasket.
Sounds possible to just be fuel since it’s most likely dumping fuel since your flooring it under no load. Also very bad for the engine
It is possible that you are showing cold, dense condensation and this is normal. If the smoke is really opaque white and the engine starts to run rough, you may have a head gasket problem.
