I have a 1997 f150 with about 250000 miles on it. My wipers are intermittently stoping in the up position. To be exact they will start then stop a quarter of the way then start and stop half way then start and stop all the way up and then go back down. Only on the delay setting and it doesn't matter which delay setting is on. Thay work fine on lo or high and i even swapped the wirper relays around and had no change.
When you run them in either Low or High, and then turn them off, do the wipers always park themselves in the correct position at the bottom of the windshield?

January that means the wiper motor and circuit board assembly needs replacing. They break like that short out. I see it all the time
This started happening about an hour or two after I went through a car wash if that has enything to do with it and is the wiper motor and circuit board assembly one part or two parts?
