Hi everyone,
My 2019 Kia Optima with 8k miles keeps beeping for passenger side seatbelt when i place the lightest objects on the passenger seat! i mean even a phone or a small tiny item. Any tricks to stop that or to shut it off completely? Also i don't wanna waste a precious day at the dealership for them to tell me nothing is wrong with it.

usually there is a procedure to turn it off. Check the owner's manual.

The weight sensor in the Kiyundai products are renowned for this issue when an object is tossed into the front passenger seat.
Does your owner’s manual give you an option of turning off the passenger airbag, when not required/in use?
