I watched your recent post on washing the salt off the car with the power washer last night, where you got into the wheels wells and undercarriage.
Since I live up in the rust belt of Nebraska, I agree with everything you said and I add only one more simple step.
I attach may lawn sprinkler onto my garden hose and I feed it from the front of the car to the back, moving it about every 15 minutes. This seems to do a very good job in hitting all the spots you can hit with the power washer on the undercarriage.
I just a clean nut on my cars.
