I have a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta Gli 2.0 turbo manual transmission. When accelerating, it sounds more of a dirt bike in the distance. The noise is in sync with the RPMs even when decelerating. Other issues associated are the RPMs raised as i approached a stop at around 10 MPH. Codes read were: system too lean, higher than normal RPMs, under boost. This noise progresses in volume as acceleration does. Seems to be coming from around the valves, possibly the pcv. I have a video for reference that I’ll include right here: https://youtube.com/shorts/9nFW_o2Q9OA
Thanks for any help!
print something in the PCV because it is a noise kind of like that when they get restricted and the system makes flappy noises sometimes it's as easy as the hoses are getting rotten and then when air pressure sucks them in they flap like an old worn-out snorkel
You’re the best Scotty!
