Pleas help me understand why high mileage car's are so much cheaper.
I would like ro give an example.
How can it be that a 2018 Corolla with 150k miles can cost nearly as much as an 2015 Corolla with the same mileage.
Did i get my facts wrong ?
What is the reason for that ?
When a car reaches 200k-300k mileage regardless of the manufacturer (even Toyota), all of the parts on there are worn out. If you end up buying a car like that, something is going to go out- transmission first. Sometimes there is a rare instance whereas if you buy a car with high mileage, it can still have some life back in it-as long as documentation is present and how the previous owner took care of it.
Is this a serious question? It's pretty much self-evident that all else being equal, a car with high mileage will have more wear and less long-term life left than one that has low mileage and thus is worth less.

Strange question. Would you rather buy shoes that walked 100 miles, or 1000 miles? There's less life in them.

different options? different condition? greedier seller? there are many possibilities ...
