Turns out my friend had taken out his floor mat and when he put it back it was depressing the gas pedal

I wish I would have taken a picture for just rolled in

Get some throttle body cleaner and use it.

Will air intake and carburetor cleaner work in place of throttle body cleaner

Will air intake and carburetor cleaner work in place of throttle body cleaner

Carburetor cleaner is made for carburetors, not electronic fuel injection. It leaves oily residues behind to lubricate carburetors and can gunk up or even ruin electronic parts that are on or in the vicinity of the throttle body.

Ok ty

Scotty says the throttle body needs to be cleaned he doesn't say how often I have one car with over 100,000 miles and one car with over 160,000 miles is it a bad idea to clean the throttle body and mass air flow sensor if nothing is running incorrectly
