Camry 5th gen using 2003 uaing 2AZ engine 2.4L recommened using 5w30 oil
And on 6th gen camry using 2.4L 2AZ ENGINE (the same engine on both cars) recommened using 0w20 oil.??

Thinner oil means less energy to pressure feed it through the engine and hence, better (questionable) miles per gallon.

From what I have read it has to do with very slightly better fuel economy. I am no expert so someone chime in if I’m wrong.
