If Honda makes decent gasoline cars, do you think they’ll make good EVs?
I can't see Honda allowing a bad product on the market with their name on it.
Well, Honda and GM will be working together on the EVs with Honda using GM’s Ultium platform, and GM electronics is not a strong suit, so....... Time will tell if this partnership was a good thing, but I’ll pass.

If Honda made their own electric cars, I will say I'm not sure. GM and Honda partnered to make EVs so I will say no based on GM's electric vehicle failures.
As far as overall quality we don't know, though with GM in the mix I wouldn't be very hopeful. However unless they manage to come up with a new kind of battery or other mobile electricity source (Mr. Fusion?) they will be no more practical for most people than any of the others on the market.
Honda already has a great reputation for quality and reliable engines. Surely their engineers can make a reliable Electric vehicle.
But Honda partnered with GM in producing EVs, so I don’t think it’ll be the case...
