How much did you get quoted for the repair?
Havent gotten a quote for repair, figured id do it myself since I have gotten the car for practically free.

Other than the engine, these aren't that bad.
If you can do it by yourself - why not.

Sure, if you can do the work yourself it's not all that expensive a repair. Be sure to have the cylinder head checked at a machine shop for cracks and warping.
