Would you buy a Honda Accord 1.5 Sport 2022 or a Nissan Altima Platinum 2021?
Or do you despise both?
Thank you
I personally would never buy a new car but I would recommend Honda over Nissan any day
Why is somebody selling a barely used Accord? Or did you mean brand new?

(* he didn't really say this. Go with the Honda).
So if buying new I assume it would be the 2023 Accord because that's the newest model available (or if you're getting a deal on a brand new 2022). Definitely get the Accord; yes it is a turbocharged engine but as Scotty also talked about in one of his videos they've figured out the turbocharge issue and as long as you use the right oil you'll be fine.
That's a tough choice there to be honest.
Hondas are obviously better than Nissan however the particular one your wanting to get has a turbo connected to a GDI engine. With a higher risk of carbon build up and the turbo putting tons of pressure into that small engine, your best bet is to stay away from that car in general.
The Altima has a pretty dependable engine, but that one main problem with that vehicle is the CVT that's built into that car. They're complex and when they break, it could empty your wallet like crazy.
So yes, I'd despise those cars for a good reason. If you want to get something that's new and dependable, my best suggestion is to get the Toyota Camry. Both the four bangers and the V6 engines are dependable, and their 8 speed automatics are pretty good despite the fact it has too many speeds in my opinion. But knowing Toyota, if something goes wrong, they usually fix it as much as possible.
Anyways, I hope this helps my friend.
