DEALERS(7) SAY MAP SENSOR #89420-06060 IS REPLACEMENT PART. IT DOES NOT FIT MY CAR. THE SENSOR IN MY CAR HAS A RAISED LINE THAT IS OFF TO THE SIDE ON THE BOTTOM, THE REPLACEMENT PARTS RAISED LINE IS IN THE CENTER OF THE BOTTOM. THEREFORE IT WONT FIT. HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE. CAN YOU HELP ME FIND OUT WHY THE PART ALL DEALERS ARE TELLING ME FITS DOES NOT. FOUND ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL FIT BUT SAYS IT IS FOR 1997 TOYOTA CAMRY 3.0. GOING BALD FAST HERE. ENGINE LIGHT ON, PERIODIC SURGING OR PULSATING AT LOW SPEEDS AND IDLES AT 1100 AFTER WARMED UP. REALLY LOUSY GAS MILEAGE. 14 MPG IN TOWN. RUN IT 16 MILES A DAY.HAS BEEN PUT ON SCANNER AND SAYS EGR VALVE AND REPLACED THAT. AND SAYS NOW IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE AND HAVE REPLACED THAT ALSO, WATER TEMP CONTROL SENSOR REPLACED THAT. HAVE REPLACED AIR FILTER. SPRAYED ENGINE FOR ENGINE LEAKS AND CANT FIND ANY.

Stop using capital letters please. Order parts using your VIN for the proper parts, not just year, make and model.
Take the old part with you to the parts store to find a match. Are there any numbers on the old part you can reference? What about it doesn't fit?
Sorry you don't like the caps. Not yelling here just have eyesight issues. Have used VIN number on every dealer or parts house and they still come up with part number that does not fit. Any ideas on where to go from here. I can't believe we are the only ones with this problem. I appreciate your answer but need more as I have been giving Vin all along. Thank you very much looking forward to see what else can be done.
