Hey scotty, love your videos. You've brought much knowledge to us, so thank you!
I've decided to get a Xterra but they're so rare to find. Haven't been able to find a good crv too.
Am wondering, are the other suvs as good as the Xterra? Like the Pathfinder? Is it as good? RWD+4WDs.
Thanks in advance guys.
I'd consider a RWD one. Avoid certain years with major problems, you could find that in the Used Car Buying Guide, Worst Vehicles With Worst Complaints. Definitely don't consider the 2005-2007 which had major transmission issues as result of coolant leaking. The Xterra is a better Nissan but if your price permits I'd also look at a Toyota 4runner or even 4X4 RAV4.
Scotty talks about a 2006 Nissan Xterra
As you can see you need to be wary about some issues.
For Nissan products, RWD ones are good. If your budget allows, consider a Highlander or 4Runner as well.
Regarding the Nissan Pathfinder see below @6:39 from the master mechanic The Car Wizard:

With the xterra or pathfinder of the same model year range are very similar and wether it’s 2 or 4wd makes no difference at all. They are awesome trucks that can run forever if taken care of. There are simple ways to avoid the intermix concerns among certain years and there’s a good chance if it’s still on the road it has already been fixed
