using a Xtool D8 scanner on a 2014 ford focus. Ive managed to separate all functions of the auto from ECU. I have not power or anything registring on the auto. I turn on the key and there no response on the dash or anywhere. I just bought the scanner and Im still trying to learn the equipI dont know how to get out of it. Can you help

If your vehicle doesn't have power, then a diagnostic interface tool won't help you whatsoever.
Get your battery and alternator tested. Check all the terminals and electrical connections, fuses, etc. Check the ignition switch.
