Good day everyone. I plan on buying aftermarket fog lights for my Civic from ebay and are decently priced truth be told however I'm under a pick and choose situation what color fog lights are best yellow or clear white?
I thought fog lamps HAD to be amber. White will just scatter off the fog and not do anything.
or are these just cosmetic? In that case just glue a lens in there call it a day
The 2 I'm looking at require time as it requires removal of the front bumper plus wiring
I like to be able to see where I'm going . That's what lights are for. Our eyes are are better tuned for sharpness in the yellow wavelengths. Not only that, but yellow light is a lot better for your night vision.

I went for the yellow ones cause they were also $10 cheaper then the clear white however my question to you is yellow fog lights at night combined with Sylvania HID Xenon Brightest would the fog lights affect color? A button is included with the order where I can activate or deactivate the fog lights.
if it's foggy then you won't see much with the bluish xenons.
Will yellow lights affect color? Yes, they will make things look yellow. that's how they cut through fog.

The vast majority of factory fog lights are white. I personally don't like the yellow look.
