Yes my brother has a 2001 Honda Accord and I was wondering if you have to have transmission fluid from the Honda dealership or can u use any kind for it

Honda is known for being more sensitive when it comes to transmission fluid; so yes go with the exact OEM stated in the owners manual. It might be more expensive but it's not something you'll be doing every single year. Just checked and oem is $8 per quart so not expensive either.
