Yo Scotty I’m trying to figure something out about my car so I bought my car about 2 months ago the guy I bought it from ripped me off pretty badly so I brought it to a mechanic shop to get it fixed which they said what needed to be fixed was the turbo and driver and passenger axel and oil pan and some other stuff which ended up to be $7k so then I get the car back a month later of them working on it then I start leaking water like crazy which was not a problem I had before and my car now takes like a full minute to actually start going when you press the gas pedal and when I switch from drive to reverse the car makes a clicking noise like something is hitting medal this also was not a problem I had before also my car is a 2005 Volkswagen Golf GTI

What sounds to me like you had idiots working on a car really ripped you off. They charge you an awful lot of money but then again it is Volkswagen and they are kind of piles of junks. At that age. I would go to another shop and have them do a once-over to tell you what shape the car is in. Could just be maybe the water pump broke but they aren't very good cars and I would have never put that kind of money into it
