Hello Scotty,

I have been following your channel for a few months and out of all my youtube subscriptions I follow and give you the most views. Please keep up the good work, and never leave your subs.

My question is: I have a 2005 ES 330 Lexus ( automatic)  in fair condition with 144,788 miles. I purchased the car from the dealer in march 2014 with 88,248 miles for $15,000.

Since we are in this "chip crisis" I want to take advantage of the situation and get some money. I was thinking about going to the dealer I purchased the car from and asking him to make me an offer. I don't want to trade it in I just want the cash.

I have another reliable car I can drive.

Is it worth it ??? Should I go to the dealer or sell it privately??? how much should I reasonably ask for ??? and what's the lowest I should accept??

Thanks in advance.

Do not sell it back to the dealer. They will not give you the offer you want because in the end, they will always make money off of it. Sell the car privately. The lowest you should accept is 10k.
