| Scotty can say a lot more on this. KBB is owned by the Cox group. They own Autotrader (or something like them), plus dealerships. They have a vested interest in higher prices. In Southern California, KBB is what EVERYBODY wants, even the impound lots near the Mexican border. I have bought two Rav4s recently... One certified, both were from a Toyota dealership, near private party blue book pricing (one under, one slightly over). I consider them major victories. | |||||

| Scotty, Love your show! I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner V6 4WD with 88K miles. I'm from Lake Charles Louisiana and due to the recent freeze I parked my car and let it sit for two weeks during the cold. When I went to start it, it blew out a small cloud of blue smoke. Only when I started it, then stopped. Only happened once and hasn't done it since. What could be the issue? Should I worry? Thanks | |||||

| Hi, I have a 2010 Lexus LS460 with 119,000 miles. If i drive it, let it sit for an hour or so, then start it again, it will smoke blue for a few seconds. It doesn't do this on cold start, nor does it smoke during normal driving. Could it be the PCV valve, or maybe something more serious? Thanks | |||||

| Yes, it is normal to see blue smoke on start up in really cold weather for like a minute or so. It's NOT normal to see any smoke after the engine is warmed up. | |||||
