I have Toyota Land Cruiser 2009 V8 AT. It do a blue smoke during first 5 to 10 minutes of initial startup when its cold.
To me it look like oil burning, there is no noise in engine, smoke stops after 5 to 10 minutes.
What could be the possible reasons ?

Smoke is coming from exhaust

hey buddy merry christmas. blue smoke would definitely signify oil burning. When the engine is ice cold on startup each of the heads are flexed inward kind of like how your ballsack comes up to your body in cold weather. as the engine warms up the heads will come flex outward to a more flat position. this seals the head gaskets better against the flat surface for a better seal and the smoke goes away. this sounds like your problem, and its ok to live with for a few years

if you are at a stop sign and u see blue smoke as you pull away from an intersection every single time then it is more likely a problem with the valve guide seals going out. this problem is more severe since u can burn a quart of oil every 1k miles or so doing this city miles

There is not much cold here in Thailand, its around 28/30 Celsius during day time.
I need to sale it and want to repair it before giving it to anyone.

Yes, it is normal to see blue smoke on start up in really cold weather for like a minute or so. It's NOT normal to see any smoke after the engine is warmed up.

Its very heavy blue smoke for around 10 minutes when car did not start for at least a week or more, but we if use it on daily bases no smoke. Look like very little oil leak collect in combustion chamber when car engine stopped for weeks

I would say live with it for now. Use good quality gasoline and replace your spark plugs at maybe more than regular intervals don't let them bog up with oil and cause misfires because that could create alot of carbon buildup on the piston heads
