I also had/have a strange intermittent fume leak getting into the cabin (doesn’t smell like gasoline just makes you cough), really bad fuel economy recently, and a battery that randomly keeps dying even though i’ve gotten it load tested and the battery is totally fine. just don’t want to drop $700 unless I know for sure what’s going on. | Dear Scotty i have a 2005 dodge Dakota st 3.7 4x4 automatic with 124500 miles on it. Vin Number 1D7HW22K45S253111 The other Day i got a gas cap message on my odometer so i replaced the cap with a locking one and cranked it to verify all was well and it was. Went out this morning to leave turned the switch and nothing no lights not a thing. Checked the battery it was 12.57 volts. Got back in truck tried again and red security light come on in top right corner. This truck does not have a security system with a key fob. It is just a regular key. Can you think ... | |||||

| So I have a 2000 dodge Dakota that never had the power window option but I just replaced my driver door with a power window but it doesn’t work I know that company’s will keep the option available even if you don’t have it but I put in the fuse for the power window still nothing is the wires from the factory harness that has the left speaker wire hooked up control the power window or is the other connector for the door wires control it my power mirror works and just to see if the window doesn’t have power I hooked used the power mirror positive and negative ... | |||||

| I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota with a 3.9l V6 with 215,000 miles. Recently was playing with my new scan tool, and looked at the live data, and both banks are adding fuel on the long term trim. But bank 1 is a lot higher than bank 2. Is there a reason that would cause this, and how can i bring them closer together. The truck does not have any engine codes, and runs really good.
