| Answer to: Did I get a good deal out of my 2006 Dodge Charger? | 9Relevance | 4 years ago | Dad2LM2 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Welcome new member! That's fairly low miles, but a lot of age. The older cars get, the less you can give them a general "value". I mean, you could look it up on kbb or NADA and get some arbitrary $XX value (I would guess will be <$13k). But the true value will be much more dependent on things like maintenance. [A 2-year-old civic is = to another 2-year-old civic, regardless of maintenance. But not so with a 16-year-old Dodge.] It also depends on the engine. I'm not a Charger expert, but seems like the R/T comes with the Hemi V8... is that right, ... | |||||
| Answer to: Should I buy this 2013 Honda Civic? | 9Relevance | 4 years ago | dltngus215 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Thank you everyone for your answers! What would you say the appropriate price for this vehicle be? Also, if I am looking for 2013 Honda Civic in general, what price range should I be expecting? Is it correct to expect the same price as the kbb says? I found several websites saying that the price is fair or even below average, but seems like the price range never meets the expectation here. I am trying to get a reliable, safe, low maintenance, and good mileage car, where I have found after research that 2013 Honda Civic seems like the best fit for me. | |||||

| ... high, prices will tend to be higher. Right now, it seems there is low stock, and high demand, so prices are outrageous. Some USED cars are going for MORE than the same NEW car, only because the used car is available, and the new one there is a wait. When making totaled insurance claims, insurance companies do comparisons of your car versus how much it would cost to get the same car with the similar mileage and condition, to figure out how much your car is worth. While I don’t like kbb, CARFAX, edmunds etc… these are tools to give you a guesstimate if wh ... | |||||

| Nothing is worth more than someone is willing and able to pay for it. kbb, Consumer Reports, Carfax, etc., are all scam to semi-scam information sources. Look at what the asking price is for that vehicle from private sellers in your area. Don't bother with dealers, they are all dishonest to say the least. It's like doing real estate comparables only with cars. And don't even consider buying anything that you cannot have inspected by your own, independent mechanic. If I find something I want to buy, I'll start by offering half the asking price. After t ... | |||||
