| I have a 2010 Dodge challenger RT Classic with a 5.7L HEMI 5 speed Automatic Transmission that "Clunks" when shifting from PARK to REVERSE when parked on an Incline, but dose NOT do this on level surface. I have a little over 15,000 mile on the car. I took the car to a mechanic to have it looked at and they said the Automatic Transmission needed some Software Updates. I do not know why the manufacture dose not inform owners of this. I got the car back and parked my driveway with a slight incline. Next morning it STILL CLUNKS. The car has NO ISSUES when ... | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I have a 2022 Dodge challenger Scat Pack with a 6.4L engine and only 7,000 miles on it. The car was involved in an accident, and we took it to a Ford dealership collision center in Charleston, SC, for repairs. The repairs took 5.6 months, and the quality of the work was very poor. When we received the car, it suddenly failed the very next morning while I was driving, putting me, my family, and other drivers at risk. We narrowly avoided a serious accident with a large truck driving behind us. After safely pulling over, I discovered that oil fluid ... | |||||

| Hello, I have a 2009 Dodge challenger RT, about 76k miles on it, automatic transmission, 5.7 V8 (HEMI). Over the past couple of months I have had some issues with the engine overheating. I have replaced the radiator (which was leaking). the water pump (also was leaking), and the thermostat twice (the old one failed and the new one also failed a couple months after installation) for about 2 months after these repairs the car was fine, but it has begun to overheat again. For about a week the car would maintain its operating temperature if i had the heat on fu ... | |||||

| I just purchased a month ago a new 2022 Dodge challenger SXT 3.6 Pentastar V6 AWD (I live up north). I was wondering, my plan is keeping this car for basically as long as I possibly can keep it. I have a good record of really taking care of my vehicles. I am very strict with oil changes and even changing all the fluids at the recommended mileage (even the power steering and differential). Anyway, is there anything I need to watch out for about this car? I already know about the cam wear problems they face, and basically I just have to be careful on not idli ... | |||||

| Buying an old Challenger RT as a daily driver | 19Relevance | 4 years ago | roberttwestervelt | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I'm also interested in buying a 2010 Dodge challenger RT with low mileage (35,000) as a daily driver. Do these older challengers with low mileage tend to have problems? What should I watch out for? Will the engine be significantly less efficient? Also, I notice older cars have more space to work in (in the engine compartment). Do these challengers have very limited space to work in? I'm trading in my VW Jetta for one of these. I'm worried about having a high mileage turbo 4 cylinder for future repairs. | |||||
