| Ford Edge PTU | 15Relevance | 5 years ago | Scotth | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty, love your channel. I have 2015 Ford Edge Titanium, 135km, 3.5l. I had a small PTU leak, took it to the dealer, said I need the seal replaced,$660. A week later leaking again, they took the PTU out this time and said it was repaired. $1730 this time. Not sure what to do because it has another drip once in awhile now. Its covered for 2 yrs parts and labor but I just think they will come up with something else when I take it in. Any advise on what to do with this? | |||||

| I owned an Edge. Drove well, rode well. Then...it was recalled for risk of engine fire. If you really want to dissuade yourself, check out the resale value. They drop like a rock as it is not a popular SUV choice. I would pass. | |||||

| I have a 2013 Ford Edge 3.5 V6 with 105,000 Miles. It's been a very good and dependable car, but after hearing about the water pump and oil dilution issues, is this car worth keeping or should I sell or trade it in while it has some value left? | |||||

| 2013 Ford Edge SEL spurters after fill up | 15Relevance | 5 years ago | JoshRLouisville | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty, I've had my 2013 Ford Edge SEL for 3 years now and it has 110,000 miles. I've had to put in a silly fuel pump that cost 2 grand and went ahead and replaced the timing chain since the mechanic was already there so I'm hoping to get 100,000 more miles. Question, every since I've owned this vehicle when it's time to get gas, without fail it has trouble starting back up - but only right after a fill up. At home or leaving work it starts up with the turn of the key once. After getting gas I have to turn the key and it spurts and won't start until ... | |||||

| Hi Scotty, love your channel. I hope you are enjoying Rhode Island. Check out the Portuguese-American fishing fleet if they are still in business. May I ask you a question, please? The wife noticed in her 2013 Ford Edge Ltd v6, about 90k miles, that the ac wasn't working. I had purchased a Blue Driver on your recommendation. It gave two codes: B1252, temperature internal sensor Circuit Short To Battery:Circuit Short to Ground, and P0480, fan control circuit. I brought it to a local shop and they told me I needed a new fan assembly for parts and labor ... | |||||
