| ... out the window because the turbocharger is operating. Turbochargers force more air into the engine's cylinders than is possible with a naturally aspirated engine. Increased air must be accompanied with more gas to maintain the same fuel/ air ratios. Gas mileage is also EPA-estimated, not based on hard facts; I once got 23 MPG going 55 MPH on the highway in my old ford Ranger 4x4 during the most recent fuel crisis; that's compared to EPA estimated highway mileage of 17 MPG. it has a 4:10:1 rear end, and the 2WD model uses either a 3.08:1 rear end, a 3.53:1 r ... | |||||

| Previous posts about the ford Fusion Most common problems: Power Steering Failure (see more) Transmission Jerks or Hesitates Shifts are Rough Overall I would recommend avoiding the ford Fusion because of its major problems. You could do better for the money. The Fusion is nearing decent at best. ford also doesn't care about their customer's safety one bit so recall work or major safety issues that pop up should make you very wary of this vehicle. | |||||

| Hi Scotty, love your channel. I have 2015 ford edge Titanium, 135km, 3.5l. I had a small PTU leak, took it to the dealer, said I need the seal replaced,$660. A week later leaking again, they took the PTU out this time and said it was repaired. $1730 this time. Not sure what to do because it has another drip once in awhile now. Its covered for 2 yrs parts and labor but I just think they will come up with something else when I take it in. Any advise on what to do with this? | |||||

| Ford edge 2013 sputtering issues | 19Relevance | 2 years ago | bangel2692 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I just bought a ford edge sport 3.7 l 2013 fwd A week ago. It has 108,000 miles, in immaculate condition on the inside of the car , maintenance records seem like they took pretty good care of it.. unsure if any tranny flushes have been done, though. Anyways, it has a sputter in between gears I believe. It has already shifted into gear, and it doesn’t seem like it has hard time shifting into the gears, but it has these sputters in between those gears pretty much right after switching into another gear. It also has erratic rpms during the stuttering. It is l ... | |||||

| Scotty - It's a 2017 ford edge Titanium 2.0 Ecoboost with 52K miles. We like to drive to the beach in North Florida often and the warning light doesn't bother us too much on the trip. But around town, the "Service Charging System Now" bonks at us a lot. I had the alternator and battery changed, didn't make a difference. So I started poking around and dug out the fuse chassis completely. The main 275LT fuse welded to the chassis was fine. Everything looked and smelled clean. Maybe one of the wires in the alternator's wiring harness is broken. What do you thin ... | |||||
| Possible Engine Problem with 2005 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 Automatic Transmission | 19Relevance | 3 years ago | DanEisenmenger | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hey Scotty Been working on my 4v6 ford Ranger edge 2005 with automatic transmission. Did not notice anything serious right until now. So, based on a gauge it takes a long time(10+ mins) for the truck to warm up(first start only). A lot of white smoke and condensation is coming out of the tailpipe. So, it gave me a suspicion that there is a coolant is mixed with combustion gases. Another thing I looked at was an oil filler cap. There was a white sludge under it. Pulled out a dipstick, and the oil is still clean. No funny smells from the exhaust pipe. The tr ... | |||||
