| If it’s high mileage and you don’t know the service history of the vehicle, do not replace it. Replacing it now may cause it to start slipping (if the fluid has never been changed). | |||||

| I’m the same original poster. I had to create another account as I was locked out for some reason. Video of knocking inside bell housing when in reverse gear and parking brake is engaged. | |||||

| Sounds like you are off to a really good start with the diagnostics. Could you possibly record a video of the knocking and link it on this thread? Could be something major or could be a solenoid. | |||||

| I vote for a gently used Lexus GS350 or larger ls430 Rear wheel drive is standard but also available in AWD. Good luck finding one. | |||||
