01 Chevy S10 pickup thoughts?

Thinking about purchasing a 01 S10 pick up with 90k on it. Not using it for my daily driver just some back and forth to Home Depot or Lowes for some home projects I have to get done. Basically a work truck nothing special. Anyways, is it worth it and reliable or walk away looking for something else?

Well they were a lot better made in 01 just make sure the engine and transmission is still in good shape any honest mechanic can check it out easily

The 2nd generation (1994-2004) Chevrolet S-10/GMC Sonoma especially with the 2.2L I4 and manual transmission back then were good, reliable trucks.  You’d want a independent, honest mechanic like a Scotty to thoroughly check it out before you buy, but if it checks out mechanically it can still have plenty of life left.  See below at 2:44 from Master Mechanic The Car Wizard:

Those were good solid trucks. If you can get it at a good price I would jump on it.
