I have a 2001 honda civic ES sedan petrol manual trans with 300 000km.
when I start the car it runs just fine… a little bit high rpm though at first (2k rpm) then it settles down like normal, but when I touch the gas the rpm starts to bounce up and down at 1k - 1,5k rpm and doesnt stop.
When driving it runs fine but if i let up the gas pedal, the car jerks, also when pressing the gas. Anytime its idling the rpm starts bouncing.
I have chanced the idle air control valve to a cheap chinese copy in the past because it was faulty, could it be that?
Thanks for reading and love your videos!
I would assume the Chinese made part is crap. I see that all the time. But if not there a check for vacuum leaks
A shop said it wasn’t an airleak.
Propably the cheap part, I’ll check.
Thanks!
