I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra, 4.7 V8 Limited 4x4 with 340,000 miles. I recently got home, pulled in the driveway and noticed a weird sound when idling. When revel higher it went away. I have also had P0420 code for 2 months and know that cats are bad. BUT… that code went OFF when I turned the truck back on and the sound was GONE! Drive it around and ran perfect, sound didn’t come back and no codes came back either. What could be my issue?? Thanks!
