1999 Camry. 2.2, Automatic. 136,000 miles. 2nd Owner (bought at 90K)
My son's 99 Camry has codes P0300/0301. The car hesitated a bit & the idle was not perfect. 3 days ago the CEL blinked & stayed off. 2 days ago it stayed on after adding Techron. I have 4k mi on Denso spark plugs, Denso wires, air/fuel filters. Freeze frame LT fuel trim is 4.7, ST fuel trim is 0.0. I cleared the codes and they stayed off since yesterday, so far. I had a loose spark plug in number one, but all are clean. Fuel pump time?

The loose spark plug could have been your only problem. Make sure all the plugs are torqued correctly and then see if you have any more problems. Good luck.

Why not test the fuel pump and find out?
