I have a issue with my 02 f150 disconnect the battery put it back later in the day and now my theft light is bliking it gave me code 1-6 I changed the big fuse and it worked but the next day I got in it to go to work and the theft light went off again What could it be? I'm stumped
i think i have the same problem as you, i have an 08 ford ranger and my Theft light turns on and off randomly, some days it starts fine and some days it wont start and i get the code, turning my ignition on and off 2-3 times (running) it will go away. but can start with a remote start just fine
Well many things can break on it and I thought system you really need a high level scanner to analyze that but then if you had to replace parts they would have to be reprogrammed so try to find a locksmith in your area who works on those because they charge much less than dealer mechanics do to fix anti-theft systems and many locksmiths now work on those systems
