Hello Scotty! Thank you for your wonderful help. You have helped me keep my 03 Tundra w/ 415,000 miles going strong.
I recently replaced all the igniter coils and plugs with NGK. The #1 cylinder NGK igniter quit in a week. Replaced it, with generic and is fine. It started running rough so I visually checked the igniters and checked all gaps to the plugs. Everything looked good. The first box store reading gave me misfires at cylinder #’s 2, 3, and 4.
Went to McDonalds to chew on the problem and parked next to mechanic. There is a God. I bought him and his pups a family lunch meal for his help (with peace of mind) and in suggesting a Meineke midrange computer test. Not a bad idea. Supposedly they have machines nearly as good as the dealers for half the test price. ~$150
The tech came back and said it registered misfires but did not think it was igniters, but maybe injectors… pointing to injector screens - (bad gas? But wouldn’t that affect all injectors?, 415k?).
So - OK
So I ran a can of Lucas cleaner on a 250 mile return. Nada much happened. So I had some Marvels, but it just runs rough smoother.
Below is a link to the report and pics Meineke sent me.
I dont know what to do. Dont mind turning the wrench to replace injector screens, but dont want to waste my time. Should I buy an igniter and try it in suspect cylinders (3,4,5,6)? The report also suggests main belt and tensioner pulley replacement, but both are not more that 4 years old.
maybe this link will work to test results - THANKS

Most of us here don't recommend chain shops like Meineke. However, nothing comes up for me at that link though it may be because I have my browser armored with so many script and ad blockers.
At the age and mileage of that vehicle it would be no surprise if there were fuel injector problems bad enough that "Lucas cleaner" would not do much of anything. That kind of problem would likely show up in the fuel trims. Given the high mileage bad compression is also a distinct possibility.

Thank you for your thoughts. Can I post the pictures from the test on here somehow?
